Motivation Monday: Counting Backwards

A Look Back

It’s hard to believe that another year is coming to a close. I mean time flies by when you’re having fun, but seriously, folks. Where does it all go?

Before the close of this year, I wanted to take a little time to say, “Thank you”. Your support, kind comments, and words of encouragement have done more for me this year than you’ll ever know.

As we count down and say “goodbye” to the old and “hello” to the new, I’m also counting my favorite lessons learned in 2012:

10.   Seasons change. Holding on to the old can keep us from living our best life.

9.  Slow Down and Smell the Cake

8.  Take one . . .step . . .at . . . a time.

7.  Life is too short for regrets. Live!

6. True friends are tied together by heart strings.

5. Family.

4. Laughter is like medicine.

3. Disappointment is never fun, but a little patience and extra preparation never hurt anyone.

2. Fear is a one way trip to hopelessness that I’m not willing to take!

1.  Do what you love!

Happy New Year friends!!!

Happy New Year to you, too, Shannon! All the best for 2013. :) I can’t wait to see what you come up with for PR&P, and I bet you are busy working on that right now. :)

Yep! Kind of eatin’ and sleepin’ PR&P right now :). I saw the fantastic leotard you made for your daughter for gymnastics. I sure needed that pattern a couple of months ago for my girls for dance!
