Mom Views & Reviews: IStoryTime

It’s Friday!!!

I know I’ve kind of been missing in action lately. I’ve been testing the Breeze pattern, and the whole process from start to finish can be pretty intense. Thankfully, I have a great group of testers who are making everything a lot easier to manage. My 3 month old is also attached to me (literally, 🙂 ). Do you know how long it takes to type a post with one hand? A REALLY LONG TIME! But, I’m good. Ha! Ha!

So, I have another FREE mom-friendly app for you this week! The Apparoo™ App of the Week is called IStoryTime. I don’t know about you, but my kids love stories. Even my 3 month old is attentive when I share a story with him (I think he just likes the sound of my voice 🙂 )

Here’s a little bit more about the app

Sometimes simple is best. No matter how many fancy toys your kid has, they always end up on your lap saying “Mama, tell me a story.” iStoryTime is like a central library for kids’ books, and they wisely left off extraneous features, letting the stories shine. It includes four free books and then you can buy more à la carte, or pay a monthly or annual fee, Netflix-style, for unlimited books. With new books released in the app every week, there is always fresh content to enjoy. Stories can be narrated or silent, allowing your child to read independently when they’re ready. As Leonardo said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” (Da Vinci, not DiCaprio, people.)

The first 4 stories are free. If you like the app, you can purchase more. Click here on Itunes to try it out.

Happy Mother’s Day, lovelies!
