About Me!

ENGAGE . . . BEAUTIFY . . . SOAR

These three words are the running theme of my little blog cabin.

Hi. I’m Shannon.

Wife to a super cool dude that makes me laugh.

Mother to 6 beautiful, bright, inspiring little munchkins.

I love GOD. I love JESUS. I love people.

Some things I enjoy:

Languages

The sound of children laughing

Thinking outside the box

Writing from my heart

Singing from my soul

Living like tomorrow is not promised

Quality over quantity

Oh, and I really like motorcycles, but hubby is not keen on the idea

Some things that I don’t like so much:

Brussels Sprouts

Heights

Boredom

Limitations

Each week I post on the following schedule:

(Monday) - Monday Motivation - I share words of encouragement to hopefully start your week off with a smile.

(Tuesday) – Tuesday Tutorials - My personal tutorials to share

(Wednesday) – Favorite Things Wednesday - Pics and Links for the week

(Thursday) – Random Thursday -Mmmm. Well, it just depends.

(Friday) – Look of the Week – Coming Soon!

**I will probably not post everyday due to time constraints, but when I do post, it will be based on the schedule above.

UPDATE: In 2013 I began developing my own PDF pattern line. I’d love for you to sign up for my monthly newsletter so you can have the inside scoop on my new pattern releases, private discounts, free patterns and giveaways. (CLICK THE SQUARE)

Hi! I found your blog via pinterest (I always love the sewing things you pin). You have a sweet blog and you’re a very talented sewist! I totally agree with you and your thoughts about sewing. My mom taught me to sew, I gave up as a teenager, and then started again as stress relief when my oldest daughter was a toddler. I always have much more in my head than I actually create, but it’s fun.

I too have a lot more in my head . . . in notebooks . . .  on scratch sheets of paper, you name it! I just don’t have time to make it all!

I have always wanted to learn to sew – well, I take that back – I became interested when I was expecting my son. I’ve still not taken lessons, but plan to at SOME point in my busy life :-) . Thank you, Shannon for demonstrating your passion for creativity, beauty, and God in all that you do. Truly INSPIRING!!!!
